This project will replace 8,000 linear feet of undersized water mains and mains with a history of leaks. Existing pipelines will be upgraded with new 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron pipe to improve system reliability, increase fire flow capacity, and support the installation of a fire hydrant at the pipeline terminus.
Work will be performed in-house by District water maintenance crews and will require additional staffing.
