SNRC Membrane Bioreactors

Sterling Natural Resource Center facility overview photo

The Sterling Natural Resource Center (SNRC) utilizes a multi-step treatment process to treat and recycle an average of up to 8 million gallons of wastewater per day. Treated water is recharged to the local groundwater basin to replenish supply and provide a sustainable source of water. The District’s contractor will install a fifth filtration train in the Membrane Bioreactors (MBR). This expansion will enhance facility operations and allow the District to meet the community’s service needs.
